The Hedgehog concept from Jim Collins is highly effective. He focuses on helping us to identify our passions, talents and to find economic opportunities that provide a sustaining economic model. Many planning models are linear. Being organized and thoughtful is vital. However, this model is more circular with specified timelines not provided. Some organizations will need to go through the cycle frequently. This assumes that these organizations have effective mechanisms to collect value information and align the organization top-down quickly. We provide a taste of one of our strategic planning templates below.
